Most tend to drop art along the way to other academic pursuits. When one chooses to overlook the innate need for creative expression he/she becomes a little less happy in life. Every time so.
As a child grows up into an adult the struggle is more and more to paint like a child instead. So why corrupt them in the first place? Why take away their joy?
We at Math n Kids believe in helping the child to unlearn the popular rules and practices that may in any way restrict them in true creative expression. The idea is to liberate their minds and bank on their potential. Thus ensuring the development of a highly evolved sense of individuality in style and freedom in exploring. So we introduce the child to various art practices, material, school of thoughts and some art history. We make sure their own aesthetics is treasured and polished as we go along. Eventually the child might reach a stage where his choice of medium and style is more defined to establish itself. Its a journey to self discovery. We only help them. Perhaps only we can help them.
